Mingas-Power Ltd. - Your Partner for the Utilisation of Mine Gas

		Mingas-Power Ltd., founded in August 2001, appears as a joint venture of Steag GmbH, incumbent upon which is the entrepreneurial leadership, and RWE Power AG, based in Essen. Mingas-Power Ltd. utilises mine gas, which is extracted by suction from operating mines in North Rhine Westphalia, for the production of heat and power.
		With a total of at present 40 modules our company provides electrical power to an extent of about 50 MW and thermal power to an extent of about 60 MW.
		The annual power production of 200 million kWh corresponds to the energy supply of about 60,000 households. At the same time up to 50 million kWh of waste heat are made available for public district heat supply.
